Personality Development (PDP)

Many business schools regard the personal development of students as an option. We, in contrast, integrate it into the Programme itself through our acclaimed Personality Development Programme (PDP), which is an integral part of our Programmes. We place strong emphasis on PDP which help you to:

• Study more effectively
• Manage yourself more confidently and productively
• Live a more enriched life

The feedback we regularly receive from students and their employers substantiates these claims. The PDP is a Programme of skill development activities and resources. These enable you to develop an independent and reflective style of learning that will help you during your management studies and thereafter, throughout your working life. This helps you to plan, manage and demonstrate your learning more effectively. Working with our skills development co-coordinator, you complete a skills audit during your induction period. Workshops and an individual tutor’s support this process throughout the two year programme.

You then gather evidence of your learning from activities and feedback through skill workshops, seminars and tutorials. Some of the recent workshops include:

• Managing time and stress

All these help you to become more aware of your own and other’s development needs and apply your newly acquired skills more effectively.
