Life at JKPS

JKPS believes in motivating all the students to take initiative and actively participate in various activities and, hence, encourages them to be a part of the following committees.

Cultural Committee:The committee deals with cultural events, and gets them organized through students participation. Various activities include the inaugural function, Fresher’s party, Foundation Day, Teacher’s Day celebrations and the mega JKPS festivals are organized by the Committee. The Committee is responsible for forming groups to celebrate / observe international days.

Academic & Library  Committee:The Committee deals with a number of new ideas & organizes debates, seminars, colloquium through students’ efforts for professional excellence & knowledge up-gradation, case study analysis and case learning through various modes like audio-visual, reading, etc.

Placement Committee: The placement cell has a fully functional student driven Placement Committee to run the day to day activities of the cell. They work under the guidance of placement Cell Staff to ensure smooth and proper conduct of placement activities.

Sports Committee: The Committee deals with the promotion of sports and conducts various sports events and at least one sports week in a year.

Library Committee: Responsibility includes up-gradation, looking into general functioning of the library and suggest ways for improvement, suggestions for procurement of books and periodicals.

Newsletter Committee: This Committee is in-charge of the quarterly newsletter of JKPS which is circulated among corporate houses and B-Schools.

IT Committee: The Committee is responsible for updating IT facilities and software useful to management learning. It is responsible for holding an It seminar / fete once a year.

Entrepreneurship Cell Committee: E-Cell is responsible for arranging E- Talks, facilitating business plan making & implementation and arranging various activities to evoke the entrepreneurial skills set.
