CAMPUS

The JKPS Campus is spread over an area of 8 acres, straddling lush green lawn and with modern infrastructure. The centrally air-conditioned buildings consist of spacious lecture halls, conference hall, auditorium, library, computer lab, faculty space, tutorials, and administrative offices. All lecture halls are fitted with the latest presentation equipment like LCD projectors, laptops, Internet and a sound system for providing a wholesome classroom experience.

LIBRARY

The Institute’s library has a rich collection of books, magazines, online journals, academic monographs, Indian and International newspapers, video and audio cassettes and CDs. The library houses a rich multimedia facility. It’s a software rich library which has subscriptions of DELNET, EBSCO and LIBSYS.

IT INFRASTRUCTURE

The institute has state-of-the-art IT infrastructure with 60 + Dual Core Machines connected with high speed LAN and have 2 MBPS internet connectivity through RF links and Broadband. Being a Wi-Fi Campus makes the internet readily accessible across the campus (including hostels) 24x7.

LECTURE HALLS

The Institute has an admirable infrastructure and modern amenities, which aid in conducting a range of academic Programmes. The lecture halls are air- conditioned and equipped with modern audio-video systems. These are designed to offer complete comfort for the intense hours of classroom teaching and interaction.

AUDITORIUM

A centrally air-conditioned large auditorium, fitted with a hi-tech acoustic system and communication network can accommodate about 500 participants and thus makes it convenient to have a large audience for major events. The auditorium provides the right ambience for national and international Programmes.

JK RESIDENCY

Hostels are available for girls and boys separately. These are air-conditioned and wi-fi enabled. Several education games and recreational activities are planned in the evenings where students and instructors together get ample opportunities to take part. In a nutshell, JKPS provides an open and democratic environment for learning and with lot of open space, warmth and cheer. Indeed, it is a fine blend of academic rigor and humanity running into every brick and mortar of the institution.

SPORTS FACILITY

Students are encouraged to take part in sports. Both indoor and outdoor sports facilities have been made available on the campus. Special arrangements have been made or activities like cricket, football, basket ball, badminton and indoor sports.

CAFETERIA

Canteen services are provided within the campus to all students. Great furnishing and lip-smacking delicacies make the canteen a popular hangout for students.

MEDICAL FACILTY

First aid facilities are available in the campus for minor ailments and a doctor visits the campus on specified days and is also available on call. A dedicated van and driver is available for any help 24x7 hrs. to the hostel inmates.
